Angel Love Shells

July 12, 2013

Angel Shell

I was in a car wreck a few years back that totaled my car but didn't total me. I remember everything seemed to be moving in slow motion just before we collided. But I especially remembered the feeling of being cradled in a bed of angel wings and knowing that I would be okay. That is how I felt again when I picked up my Angel Love shell. I originally bought some because they are a two part shell, with a pocket inside, that is shaped like a heart. I wanted to experiment with putting stones inside and using them in the center spot for the Sacred Stone Grids that I create.

So I expected the heart part but was overjoyed when I discovered the angel wings. When the two halves of this shell are together you can clearly see two sets of wings. One set is closed like you would see on the back of an angel in a picture. The other set is either just starting to open and fly or maybe they are cradling something precious depending on your point of view. When the two halves are apart it is clear to see the symbolism of a broken heart. Put a piece of rose quartz stone inside and close it back up to see a broken heart mended by the power of love. But with all this said it was really the high vibration these shells give off that caught my attention the most. I made the mistake of opening the package they came in just before bedtime. That high vibration had me up for many wide awake, but happy, hours.

What can you do with an Angel Love shell? That is a path I am just starting to explore. As mentioned above I plan to place mine in the center spot of some Sacred Stone Grid layouts I have in mind. The obvious ones to try are to place a rose quartz inside for a layout about love or a black tourmaline inside for a layout about protection. I am excited to also try other possibilities. I also have a vision of placing a pink mangano calcite and a black tourmaline inside an Angel Love shell and then either wire wrapping or macramé around the shell to form a way to hang it from the mirror in my car for protection while traveling. These shells must also be a sacral chakra opener because my creative juices are flowing with many more ideas. I look forward to exploring more with these new friends to learn what more they have to offer.

What do you feel when you hold one? Please share!

Love, laughter, and chocolate,
Elaine

Hi Elaine,
I just love the story and ideas you have for these shells. What a wonderful spiritual way of using shells like these and stones. When you said, "wire wrapping or macramé around the shell to form a way to hang it from the mirror." I thought of a crochet bag that looks like a fishknight lace around the shell in a pink thread, and hanging it by your bed on the lamp switch, or by the bathroom mirror, would be a way of doing a healing or love spell, or grid. Also an adventuring and florite would be another healing stones that could be used. There are so many possibilities. If you would like, I could crochet something up for you on this. Just let me know.
Thank you for sharing your story.

Diana,
I love your vision for a pink fishnet type bag to put a shell in. And yes, a bedside sleep or dream aide would be great! I am so excited about all the possibilities. If you make any of your ideas please send picks or let me know what you do. It will be fun to see.
